Vimeo believes in HTML5 and Web M. So much so, Vimeo has added HTML5 support to its embed code.
The new embed code will support flash, and html5 video streaming – depending on your browser. However mobile support is a Plus feature so most embed videos will not work (plus users have to turn it on).
I am glad that Vimeo is still pushing HTML5 out, as it’s needed as an alternative to Adobe’s flash.
