Personally you can colour me impressed. The updates are what everyone was expect and what we all wanted really. The shuffle now has the click wheel back, the nano is now smaller so its easier to use, the 4th gen iPod Touch now has HD camera, and Facetime like the iPhone 4 (yay), and the new Apple TV now has Netflix and is now only $99 with streaming only.

Apple today has fixed the hole for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad users alike.

Naturally jailbroken users will not be a fan of this update as it will un-jailbreak their device.

Personally I do not jailbreak my devices – I have no need. So this security fix is much needed as I don’t want my iPod Touch hacked without my knowledge thanks to a pdf bug.

The update is very large at 380mb+ via iTunes.

Tawkon has made a video showing increased radiation levels (poor signal) on the iPhone, Blackberry, and Nexus one.

There is now a browser-based (you read right) jailbreak for all iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPads. It couldn’t get any easier. Naturally however it voids your warranty if you don’t restore the device before servicing.

So far Rogers and Telus will be offering the iPhone 4 soon. Virgin Mobile, Bell, and Fido will get it eventually (they carry the 3G, and 3GS).

Plans are still $60/$75 a month for iPhone users.

Hopefully the rollout of iPhone 4 will be better than it as been elsewhere.

Note: iPhone 4 is also coming to; Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland July 30th. Steve Jobs said that South Korea is having delays.

Steve jobs explained today that the iPhone 4 is not the only phone with smartphone antenna issues.

Blackberrys, droids, windows phones all have the same issues. Steve says that holding that way you are absorbing signals so the phone receives less.

He also said free bumpers until September 30th but they are of limited supply.

Data shows that on average the iPhone 4 drops less calls and has a lower return rate then the 3GS.

Not completely shocking, but it will be questioned if Apple will recall the iPhone 4, or just give out free bumpers.

In any case the tech world will be glued to the Phone 10AM PT on Friday July 16th, 2010.

Microsofts COO Kevin Turner is calling the iPhone 4 Apple’s Vista. Vista was a horrible failure for Microsoft so if they are comparing the iPhone 4 to that then…well…iPhone 4 has serious issues.
