Like message threading (all emails that are of one conversation appear as one listed sheet so its easy to keep track)? If you don’t then it doesn’t matter. Google in a blogpost said that they have added an option to gmail to turn off message threading.
While I see no need for this (its useful) its nice to have the option at least. I highly don’t think this will convert Gmail haters but I could be wrong.
Google has a lot of products I mean Google has; picasa, news, blogsearch, buzz, search, maps, youtube, chrome, chrome os, blogger, health, voice, checkout, reader, earth, adsense, adwords…the list goes on and on.
Staying on top of all that is really hard. There is RSS feeds, friends, twitter, etc but still its hard to keep up. Google just literally has way to many products to keep up on.
But naturally Google has found a way around that with Google New.
Google new is a site where you can keep track of every little and big update that Google does. Very handy indeed.

The rumored Google Instant Search that displays search results as you type is now live for users in the U.S.
Google is hoping that this will save time because users will no longer need to type enter for a search query.
A mobile version is coming this fall.
Google Chrome is now 2 years old and has already hit version 6. That’s a much faster release cycle then any other browser out there.
Google chrome 6 brings extension sync to the masses, as well as a boat load of security and memory corruption bug fixes.
Personally I think Google Chrome is great but Google release cycle of a new version every 6 weeks means we could easily hit version 15 before IE9.
Google has yet to fix (or deal with) memory issues resulting from flash (high memory usage compared to Firefox/IE), and Java issues (Pogo still doesn’t work…).
Google chrome has a 7% market share so it’s not as popular as Firefox but it is dwarfed still by Internet Explorer.
I’ve personally used Google Chrome for a while but since my laptop only has 1GB memory I cant use a browser that uses that much memory (Safari is like that too), that’s why I use FireFox because it uses by far the least memory.
Yahoo has slowly been walking the plank. Last year when Microsoft wanted to buy Yahoo, and they turned it down it was a bad move.
Now Yahoo is almost worthless. So much so yahoo search results in Canada/US are now actually bing results.
The transition is smooth, so nothing should really change. Hopefully this “increase” in usage in Bing will translate in better Bing results.
Too this date google and duck duck go results are still better. So not real change.
Tell me your thoughts, is it cool, bad, ugly or meh?
Pocket now has an early review of Android 2.2 (Nexus One), Windows Mobile 7, and iPhone 4 browser comparisons.

Attenagate is still going around. Proof of it however has been few and far between. The affected smartphones have also been not really known.
Tawkon has made a video showing increased radiation levels (poor signal) on the iPhone, Blackberry, and Nexus one.
Nexus One is Google’s smartphone that never took off. It tried to compete with the iPhone, Blackberry, and Droid but never won the battle.
After a disappointing 50,000 units sold over several months, Google is shutting down the Nexus One Store and production.
Google will still offer support for the Phone, and the phone will still be available to be sold in some local markets in Europe.
Looks like the Nexus One is the only Android Phone to not take off.
Google today enabled a new feature in gmail allowing the quickview/web view of .doc attachments.
This helps for those who don’t gave office installed, or just want to quickly preview an attached document.
