Apple has now added a subscription feature to the app store.

Softpedia reports that there a subscription terms for; weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly or yearly.

Sounds like good news right? Well sadly…this is Apple always something is wrong.

Arstechnica is reporting that Apple wants a 30% cut if they get a new subscriber because of Apple.

So just like in app purchases Apple wants a cut…and a pretty large one at that.

It’s not all bad though. If a publisher already has a subscriber…then Apple takes nothing. So its all fair…if Apple helps you, they want a cut.

Lets see if this helps the app store or hinder it.
