Google Stops Using Microsoft Products Over Security Concerns

Financial times is reporting that Google is completely ditching Microsoft products from its whole company. No, it’s not about competition, but rather security concerns over Microsoft’s products.  The security concerns are related to the China hacks earlier this year. Google says that Windows just is to easy to hack and exploit. So much so that its a serious concern for them.

From this point forward Google employes will be allowed to use Linux, and Apple on their desktops and laptops. Google believes that this will result in Google being more secure because of less threats.

Google also likes how Linux is open source which is Google for Google’s bottom line since most of Google is Open Source. They just no longer trust Microsoft with their business critical missions.
