Apple Adds Opt-Out Feature for iAds on iOS4

June 22nd, 2010

Don’t want Apple to keep a record of what advertisements are displayed. Don’t want Apple to know where you are?

Don’t want Apple to help deliver relevent iAds on iAds for iOS4? No problem.

If you want to opt-out on being tracked by iAds on iOS4, all you have to do is visit oo.apple.com.

It will stop Apple from recording information via iAds, so you will get less of a relevent experience.

It however does NOT block iAds.

Note: You will have to visit the opt-out site every-time you clear cookies on devices running iOS4, and on each device.
