Apple has Approved Opera Mini for the iPhone! Finally an alternative to Safari for the iPhone will be available. It will be in the app store by tomorrow. Its been in the waiting queue for almost 20 days.

Opera mini features a nice tabbed browser, and compression for fast page loading. Watch the demo video below:
