Apple has updated its Safari web browser. New changes in 4.0.5 include: performance improvements for top sites, plugin stability improvements, stability improvements related to online forms, accessibility improvements, font memory usage improvements, linksys router change issues, and iWork comment bug fixes. The update is for all platforms (Mac,PC).

“Performance improvement for Top Sites” – that’s a good one, I’ve always felt annoyed by the extra seconds it took for Safari to launch because of Top Sites.

Yes, Safari was rather slow in responding to top sights, so far though its OK in speed.
