Hmm, just when Toyota thought things where sunny again.
Toyota as of this moment has officially issued a recall for the 2010 prius.
While it is for only Japan it is expected that tomorrow that the Prius be added to the U.S. recall.
Unlike the other models that have a faulty gas petal, the Prius suffers from a fault brake petal.
The brake petal issue is caused at low-speed while hitting a bump resulting in a temporary shortage of brakes (software glitch).
The recall only affects 2010 Prius’s made before February 2010.
