Hachette Joins Macmillan/HarperCollins in Amazon eBook Price War

05 Feb

Hmm seems that $10 is not enough for 3 of the major book publishers anymore.

After Apple revealed the iPad and its $15 book price for publishers 3 of the major book players (Haccette, Macmillan, HarperCollins) either jumped ship, or joined back with a new $15 price.

While it is only $5 more ebooks are now the same price as hardcovers so Amazon isn’t happy.

Looks like Apples iPad has officially knocked all the wind out of the kindle.
