Pages Finally Arrive To Blogger

20 Jan

Good news to all of those who still use blogspot (blogger).

Google has added a new feature…pages.

While wordpress/wordpress.com has had this for ages it is nice that it’s now on blogspot.

Pages is only viewable to blogger in draft (beta section).

Your allowed 10 pages.

You can have them as tabs, or list them.

I have no screenshots of this because blogspot crashed while I was trying to create a page!

So rejoice those who use the age old platform, you have a better platform.

Wordpress.com however is still much better due to no ads allowed which weeds out all of the low quality blogs.

dreamsburnred, I think I will stick with wordpress. It has more features, plugins than blogger. Some of the things that I am hearing is that the spam filters are so tight on blogger that just a few links out will get you band. One person that I know of had a blog shutdown after 2 years and had a pr3 with a lot of good backlinks. this is a free blog and they will most likely turn the blog back on but why put yourself through that. sticking with WP

I was going to move to blogspot after they fixed the convert bug this morning but after I realized that it wow it really screws things up I will stay with wordpress.

Wordpress is much more high quality then blogspot. Both in the themes, and in the blogs.

WP still rocks.. hope that Blogspot will come with an option of self hosted blogs.. Google should seriously consider this..

Self-hosted blogspot? *shudders* Even if blogspot has a self hosted reason there is still a reason why practically all top blogs run on Wordpress.
