Despite earlier when Microsoft said that the .xml lawsuit would not affect Office 2003/07 users it has.
Microsoft has pulled all Office versions except ultimate.
So while Office is unavailable the only thing we can do is use Google Docs, or Open Office.
Microsoft has had weeks to patch Office with the fix but they haven’t, instead there appealing the injunction.
So Microsoft is intentionally screwing users with this ban, as a Canadian company filed a lawsuit over a month ago.
Office could be unavailable for the most part for up to a few months depending on if Microsoft puts out a patch.
