Well looks like this year is headed the right way.
Net Applications has released their monthly internet browser market share.
The results show IE is falling and now has 62% down from 63%
Chrome has passed Safari (barely) with 4.6%, Safari holds 4.4%.
That’s a climb of 1% for Chrome while a very small .1% for Safari.
Firefox fell .2% which is stillĀ a quarter of internet users.
Apparently 24% of internet users still have to suffer with IE6!
The data is from 40,000+ websites, and 160 million+ unique traffic hits.
So, while we ever so slowly claw IE from our hands we can only wait.
