Time to update Firefox once again.
As there has been another security, and stability update.
Changes include:
GeckoActiveXObject exception messages can be used to enumerate installed COM objects
Privilege escalation via chrome window.opener
Location bar spoofing vulnerabilities
NTLM reflection vulnerability
Integer overflow, crash in libtheora video library
Memory safety fixes in liboggplay media library
Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.9.1.6/ 1.9.0.16)
3 are major, 1 high, 2 moderate and one low.
The stability updates fix crashed, and artifacts seen with Google Wave.
So update to Firefox 3.5.6 by clicking help –> check for updates…or wait a few days as it will bug you.
I’ve tried this… It’s works.. Without major bugs…
