I do not know why Yahoo! is still the only major email provider that doesn’t allow free pop3 email access.
CNET TV though has a video on how to do this for free, although your mileage will vary.

No offense to yahoo but gmail kicks its butt. There’s little reason not to switch!
Ya I know, but somehow its still the most popular email service.
Anyway of getting the mail.com emails forwarded to gmail or pop access – free of course , I don’t want to pay.

I’ve never heard of them. So I have no clue sorry :/.
mail.com is pretty good. It changed recently when AOL bought them out. They don’t just offer @mail.com, they have email.com, doctor.com (heaps and heaps) so you could have something like Fred at professor.com
