Hulu Revokes Rippol's Video Embeds

Just hours after the start-up company Rippol added Hulu streaming they got a notice to remove the embedded videos.

This follows Boxee and TV.com’s which also had to remove Hulu.

Hulu says that it’s against their ToS to have any ads on an embedded website. Even if there is no ads for there videos.

This is probably due to copyright reasons so the company’s who provide service to Hulu will still allow Hulu to work.

Although Hulu said that they can link the video if they wanted, but they can’t embed the video.

So far only AOL, MSN, MySpace and Yahoo!, and Facebook are allowed to embed the videos via a partnership.

Unknown if this is related to rumors of Hulu going subscription only.
