Move On Over IE, Firefox hits 50% market share

You read right.  In central and eastern Europe (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine). Firefox has manged to break the 50% market share usage!

This is fantastic news as it means more and more people are adapting a more secure, more friendly browser. Chrome/Opera/Safari where up also.

For the rest of the world Firefox’s market share is 25% but it is constantly growing.

Congrats Mozilla and let the users keep on switching!

  1. Yes it is about time! The people who still use IE are the rare fan, schools that haven't switched (which is practically all of them), governments, and business's who's IT departments that still have live on IE.
