Intel Settles Anti-Trust Dispute With AMD for $1.25 Billion

Yikes. That is one rather large fine/bailout.

The dispute between the 2 chip makers has boiled since 2004, so its nice it’s finally over.

The dispute was because AMD accused Intel of forcing PC makers and suppliers to use Intel over AMD…sometimes even with a cash payment. Or slow down there roll out of AMD.

So really, Intel you got shot and you bled $1.25 Billion hope it sets in.
