With apple stock up and windows 7 here in 2 days it’s no surprise apple ushered in new iMacs, Macbook, mac minis, and a new mighty mouse.
What are the changes?
First up iMac; it’s now a 16:9 display starting at 21.5 inches at 1080p (HD), and a 27 inch monster. Both are LED powered so they are bright and feature the latest display technology.
It starts out as a 3GHZ core 2 duo with 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, and Nvidia 9400m for $1200 USD.
It goes all the way to the new Intel Core i5 (quad, 2.66ghz), 1TB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512MB for $2000 USD, 2560 x 1440 resolution, and 27 inches.
This means it’s not only way more powerful, bigger, but it’s also much cheaper then before. The new iMacs are still energy star 5 equipped, along with apples toxic free campaign that’s in all its products.
The Macbook got a DDR3 upgrade, body upgrade, and battery upgrade. It’s now $1000 USD.
The mac mini got a slight memory, cpu, and hard drive bump stills starts at $600 USD. What is new now is a $1000 snow leopard server version. (2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB memory, Dual 500GB hard drives, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, and Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard.
