News: Digg Optimizing Its Website Speed

09 Oct

With our internet speeds increasing it means Digg has to increase its speed also.

As such they are moving to static, rather than dynamic CSS, JavaScript, and images. Getting more servers, removing the cache load, http requests, 16px for user images, etc.

This will help Digg be much faster so that more requests can be done, and more people will use it.
