This morning at around 7:30am google gmail suffered an outage to a small percentage of users.
The issue was identified and fixed an hour later. Google says it was an issue with contacts that slowed gmail down.
This is the 3rd time since feb, and the 2nd time this month.
As a result of gmails less than 99% uptime its shares where down 0.3% at $497.10.
This has many people worried about how reliable a cloud based service can be, and its effects if it keeps going down since google was a web service for everything.
