Windows Updates for September 8th, 2009

There is a total of five critical rated fixes for Windows on Tuesday, September 8th.

1. Vulnerability in JScript Scripting Engine Could Allow Remote Code Execution (971961)

2. Vulnerability in Wireless LAN AutoConfig Service Could Allow Remote Code Execution (970710)

3. Vulnerabilities in Windows Media Format Could Allow Remote Code Execution (973812)

4. Vulnerabilities in Windows TCP/IP Could Allow Remote Code Execution (967723)

5. Vulnerability in DHTML Editing Component ActiveX Control Could Allow Remote Code Execution (956844)

Affected Windows Operating Systems:

1. Windows 2000 SP4

2. Windows XP SP2 & SP3

3. Windows XP x64 SP2

4. Server 2003 SP2 (x86 & x64)

5. Server 2003 SP2 (Itanium-based systems)

6. Vista, Vista SP1 & Vista SP2 (x86 & x64)

7. Server 2008 & Server 2008 SP2 (x86 & x64)

8. Server 2008 & Server 2008 SP2 (Itanium-based systems)

According to Microsoft Security Response Center, there are no fixes being released for Windows 7, Office or IE this time.
